HAYK — inspired by the traditional North African woven textile — is a bold handcrafted Moroccan zellige mosaic characterized by its rhythmic arrangement of colorful vertical bands. Cobalt blue, emerald green, turquoise, red, yellow, black and ivory strips alternate across the surface, creating a vibrant linear composition reminiscent of traditional woven fabrics. Simple in geometry yet rich in color, the design brings a contemporary expression to authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
Each mosaic is handcrafted in Fez, Morocco, by skilled artisans using traditional zellige techniques. Individual pieces of glazed ceramic are carefully hand-cut and arranged one by one to create the colorful striped composition.

Authentic Moroccan Craftsmanship
Each HAYK mosaic is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco. Individual glazed ceramic pieces are carefully hand-cut into narrow rectangular forms and positioned one by one to create the alternating bands of color. The simplicity of the composition highlights both the richness of the traditional zellige glazes and the natural variations of the handmade material.
