À propos de cette pièce
DAHAB, meaning gold, is a warm Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the golden tones of sunlight and the earthy palette of Morocco’s architecture and landscapes.
Rich ochre-gold cross forms alternate with soft ivory shapes, framed by small warm taupe squares that give structure to the composition. The bold simplicity of the repeating motif creates a strong architectural rhythm, while the sunlit ochre tones bring warmth and character to the understated neutral background.
Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining geometric precision, warm color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
