MIZAN, meaning balance, is a bold Moroccan zellige mosaic where contrasting forms come together in a carefully ordered composition of symmetry and rhythm.

Deep black and soft ivory pieces interlock around a sequence of eight-pointed stars, creating a dynamic pattern of angular forms and alternating contrasts. The monochrome palette allows the geometry itself to command attention, while the precise relationship between dark and light gives MIZAN its sense of equilibrium, structure and movement.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining intricate geometry, striking contrast and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
