À propos de cette pièce
SORAYA, meaning the Pleiades or a cluster of stars, is an intricate Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile inspired by celestial geometry and the richly ornamented surfaces of traditional Moroccan interiors.
Interlocking charcoal and deep blue lines create a striking network of star-like forms across a soft ivory ground. Turquoise botanical details, warm yellow accents and touches of red appear between the darker geometry, bringing brightness and intricacy to the composition. When repeated, the individual motifs connect into a richly layered pattern with an almost tapestry-like effect.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
