À propos de cette pièce
MALIKA, meaning queen, is a striking Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile distinguished by bold geometry, jewel-like color and finely painted ornamental details.
Four diamond-shaped medallions create a strong symmetrical composition, framed by layers of cobalt blue, turquoise, golden ochre and soft ivory. At the centre of each diamond, a deep navy floral motif is accented with vivid red and turquoise details, creating a rich focal point. Delicate blue botanical flourishes soften the surrounding corners, balancing the bold geometry with intricate hand-painted ornament.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
