À propos de cette pièce
NADWA, meaning gathering, is an elegant Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile inspired by the harmony of repeating forms and the finely detailed geometric ornament of traditional Moroccan decorative arts.
Four square medallions form the heart of the composition, each framed by angular ivory and pale blue forms that meet in a precise repeating arrangement. Delicate turquoise, burgundy, golden-yellow and deep blue details enrich the centres, while fine dark outlines emphasise the structure of the pattern. When repeated, NADWA creates a beautifully connected surface where individual motifs appear to gather into a larger geometric composition.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
