À propos de cette pièce

JADILA — meaning “braid” in Arabic — is a handcrafted Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the rhythm of interwoven forms. Dusty rose and deep green bands cross diagonally across a soft ivory-white background, creating a repeating woven effect that feels both traditional and contemporary. The simple geometry and contrasting colors make this design particularly versatile for architectural and interior projects.

Each mosaic is handcrafted in Fez, Morocco, by skilled artisans using traditional zellige techniques. Individual pieces of glazed ceramic are carefully hand-cut and arranged one by one to create the repeating geometric composition.

✨ FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE: This design can be produced in a wide range of colors, dimensions and layouts. We can also adapt the pattern for your project or create a completely bespoke mosaic based on your own design or reference image.

📏 Sizes & Custom Orders

Available in standard sizes, with bespoke dimensions available on request. The pattern can be adapted to suit larger or smaller surfaces while maintaining the rhythm and balance of the original design.

Authentic Moroccan Craftsmanship

Each JADILA mosaic is created by skilled Moroccan artisans who individually hand-cut the glazed ceramic pieces before arranging them into the interlocking composition. The crossing green and dusty-rose elements create the distinctive woven appearance, while the ivory background gives the pattern clarity and balance.

Handmade Character

Traditional zellige is made and cut by hand, so subtle variations in color, glaze, texture, dimensions and edges are natural and expected. These variations are part of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship and ensure that every finished mosaic has its own individual character.
