À propos de cette pièce
NAWAL, meaning gift or blessing, is an expressive Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile inspired by the flowing floral ornament and richly intertwined forms of traditional Moroccan decorative arts.
Sweeping turquoise-blue and deep red leaves curl through the composition, intertwined with golden-yellow vines and bold black ornamental scrolls against a soft ivory background. Small floral details emerge between the larger forms, while the continuous curves allow the pattern to flow seamlessly from one tile to the next. NAWAL combines vivid color with graceful movement, creating a richly decorative surface full of energy and handcrafted character.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
