BURUJ, meaning constellations, is an intricate Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by celestial geometry and the ordered patterns of stars across the night sky.

A warm ochre star forms the heart of the composition, surrounded by an elaborate network of ivory interlacing lines, deep cobalt-blue forms and subtle sky-blue accents. The geometry radiates outward from the centre in successive layers, creating a captivating sense of depth and symmetry reminiscent of a constellation mapped across the heavens.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations.
