À propos de cette pièce
TASHABUK — meaning “interlocking” or “interweaving” in Arabic — is a bold handcrafted Moroccan zellige mosaic defined by the precise relationship between its contrasting geometric forms. Soft pale-blue star-like pieces alternate with deep black interlocking shapes, creating a strong repeating pattern where each element fits naturally into the next. The restrained two-tone palette gives the traditional Moroccan geometry a clean, graphic and architectural character.
Each mosaic is handcrafted in Fez, Morocco, by skilled artisans using traditional zellige techniques. Individual pieces of glazed ceramic are carefully hand-cut and arranged one by one to create the repeating geometric composition.
✨ FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE: This design can be produced in a wide range of colors, dimensions and layouts. We can also adapt the pattern for your project or create a completely bespoke mosaic based on your own design or reference image.

Authentic Moroccan Craftsmanship
Each TASHABUK mosaic is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco. Individual glazed ceramic pieces are carefully hand-cut into precise geometric forms and positioned one by one so that the pale-blue and black elements interlock seamlessly. The simplicity of the color palette highlights the precision of the geometry and the distinctive character of traditional Moroccan zellige craftsmanship.
Handmade Character
Traditional zellige is made and cut by hand, so subtle variations in color, glaze, texture, dimensions and edges are natural and expected. These variations are part of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship and ensure that every finished mosaic has its own individual character.
