WISAL

WISAL, meaning connection or union, is an intricate Moroccan zellige mosaic in which interlocking geometric forms come together to create a continuous and harmonious composition.

Soft blue stars emerge between elongated ivory and deep brown forms, with smaller geometric pieces linking the pattern together. The repetition creates a flowing visual rhythm, while the contrast between cool blue, warm ivory and dark earthy tones gives WISAL depth and a distinctly architectural character.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining intricate geometry, rich color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
