TAWSIL — meaning “joining” or “connecting” in Arabic — is a bold handcrafted Moroccan zellige mosaic defined by its striking interlocking geometry. Deep teal-blue and soft ivory forms repeatedly connect across the surface, creating a strong rhythmic composition. The large-scale shapes and restrained two-tone palette give the design a clean, architectural character while preserving the distinctive handmade quality of traditional Moroccan zellige.
Each mosaic is handcrafted in Fez, Morocco, by skilled artisans using traditional zellige techniques. Individual pieces of glazed ceramic are carefully hand-cut and arranged one by one to create the structured geometric composition.
