WASL

WASL, meaning connection or joining, is a refined Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the way individual geometric forms meet and link together to create a harmonious composition.

Elongated ivory forms are framed by warm sand-toned pieces and connected through a delicate arrangement of diamonds, squares and angular accents. The alternating shapes appear to link one section of the pattern to another, giving WASL a continuous architectural rhythm while its restrained neutral palette creates a soft and timeless character.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining geometric precision, natural texture and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
