À propos de cette pièce
WARDA, meaning rose, is a graceful Moroccan zellige mosaic distinguished by its flowing curves and warm rose-toned palette.
Interlocking petal-like forms create a continuous pattern that gently flows across the surface, offering a softer interpretation of traditional Moroccan geometry. The muted dusty-rose color enhances the sculptural quality of each hand-cut piece, while the repeating curves give WARDA a sense of movement reminiscent of overlapping flower petals.
Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining graceful geometry, natural surface variation and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
