DAWRAN, meaning rotation or turning, is a captivating Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by continuous movement and the rhythmic repetition of forms around a central flow.

Soft blue-grey curved pieces interlock in a swirling composition, punctuated by crisp ivory eight-pointed stars that appear throughout the pattern like points of light. The repeated curves create an almost circular sense of motion, allowing the eye to travel continuously across the surface while the bright star motifs bring contrast and balance.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining flowing geometry, subtle color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
