À propos de cette pièce
TAWAZUN, meaning balance or equilibrium, is a distinctive Moroccan zellige mosaic where contrasting geometric forms come together in a composition defined by rhythm and visual harmony.
Powder-blue diamonds create a continuous diagonal lattice across a soft ivory background, while deep emerald-green rectangular accents introduce a second, more architectural rhythm. The interplay between diagonal and linear forms gives TAWAZUN its distinctive character, balancing movement with structure and cool blue tones with rich green.
Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining geometric precision, rich color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
