À propos de cette pièce
RANIA, meaning one who gazes with admiration, is a captivating Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile inspired by the elaborate floral ornament and vivid colors of traditional Moroccan decorative arts.
Deep cobalt-blue diagonal bands divide the composition into a rhythmic arrangement of hand-painted floral motifs, filled with sky blue, warm yellow, red, green and soft ivory details. Delicate leaves, petals and curling forms bring richness to every section, while the strong diagonal framework gives RANIA a distinctive sense of movement and structure.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
