À propos de cette pièce
NAWARA, meaning blossom, is an elegant Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile inspired by flowering forms, graceful symmetry and the intricate decorative traditions of Fez.
Four sweeping ivory forms meet around delicate central floral motifs, creating a beautifully balanced composition framed by richly decorated cobalt-blue corners. Turquoise, golden yellow, deep red and green details bring brightness to the pattern, while fine dark outlines emphasise the intricate hand-painted ornament. When repeated, NAWARA creates a flowing surface in which floral and geometric elements connect seamlessly from tile to tile.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
