À propos de cette pièce
LAYALI, meaning nights, is an elegant Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile inspired by the flowing arabesques and graceful botanical forms of traditional Moroccan decorative arts.
Sweeping cobalt and lavender-blue curves intertwine across a soft ivory background, forming a rhythmic arrangement of leaves, petals and curling ornamental forms. Turquoise details bring freshness to the composition, while small burgundy-red and golden-yellow accents appear like tiny blossoms between the larger motifs. When repeated, the design connects seamlessly into a continuous flowing pattern, giving LAYALI a rich yet beautifully balanced character.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
