NAJMA, meaning star, is a vibrant Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile inspired by radiating floral geometry and the richly coloured ornamental traditions of Moroccan craftsmanship.
Golden-yellow star-like centres form the focal points of the composition, surrounded by elongated turquoise and terracotta-red petals that radiate outward across a soft ivory ground. Cobalt-blue accents and small burgundy details punctuate the spaces between the larger forms, while fine dark outlines emphasise every curve and painted element. When repeated, NAJMA creates a lively field of interconnected floral stars, balancing strong symmetry with expressive botanical movement.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
