GHUSOON, meaning branches, is a graceful Moroccan hand-painted ceramic tile inspired by the intertwining stems, leaves and blossoms of a flourishing garden.
Sweeping turquoise and powder-blue foliage curls outward from the centre, forming an abundant network of slender branches and stylised leaves across a warm ivory background. Golden-yellow blossoms illuminate the composition, while touches of burgundy and deep green add richness and contrast. The balanced four-way arrangement allows the botanical forms to connect naturally from tile to tile, transforming a larger installation into a continuous field of flowing ornament.
Each ceramic tile is individually hand-painted by skilled artisans in Fez, Morocco, using traditional decorative techniques passed down through generations. The subtle variations in brushwork, color and finish are part of the handmade process, ensuring that every tile carries its own unique character.
