RUKN

RUKN, meaning cornerstone or foundation, is a structured Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the strength and order of traditional architectural forms.

Small ivory squares are arranged into larger blocks and framed by warm olive-brown bands, with delicate eight-pointed stars marking the intersections. The layered grid gives RUKN a strong architectural rhythm, transforming simple geometric elements into a balanced composition that feels grounded, warm and timeless.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining geometric precision, natural texture and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
