JAWAHIR, meaning jewels, is a striking Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the brilliance of precious stones set within intricate geometric ornament.

A dramatic arrangement of black and ivory geometry forms the heart of the composition, illuminated by small ochre-gold diamond accents that appear like jewels embedded within the pattern. Soft blue-grey forms frame the central motif, creating depth and balance while drawing attention toward the richly detailed centre.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations.
