NASJ

NASJ, meaning weaving, is a playful Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the interlaced structure and rhythmic repetition of traditional woven textiles.

Elongated ivory pieces cross over and around one another to create the illusion of a woven surface, while small accents of cobalt blue, emerald green, olive, ochre, terracotta and burgundy appear between the bands like threads of color. The combination of structured geometry and unexpected color gives NASJ a lively, contemporary character while remaining rooted in Moroccan craftsmanship.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining geometric precision, vibrant color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
