À propos de cette pièce
TA'ALUQ, meaning connection or interdependence, is a refined Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the way individual geometric forms depend upon one another to create a continuous and harmonious composition.
Soft ivory pieces interlock across a warm sand-toned background, forming a sequence of subtle rosettes, angular links and star-like intersections. Each motif flows naturally into the next, creating a sense of connection throughout the surface. The restrained neutral palette allows the complexity of the hand-cut geometry to emerge gently, giving TA'ALUQ a quiet and timeless architectural character.
Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining intricate geometry, natural texture and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
