À propos de cette pièce
NAJWA, meaning a quiet whisper or intimate conversation, is an elegant Moroccan zellige border with a refined character shaped by symmetry, repetition and deep Mediterranean blues.
Powder-blue geometric medallions unfold across a rich midnight-blue background, each centred by a dark quatrefoil form and linked through crisp ivory outlines. Framed by bands of muted blue, the repeating composition creates a measured decorative rhythm, giving NAJWA a sophisticated presence that feels both historic and beautifully contemporary.
Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining intricate geometry, rich color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
