À propos de cette pièce
SALMA, meaning peaceful and serene, is a subtle Moroccan zellige mosaic defined by delicate geometry and a beautifully restrained natural palette.
Soft stone and warm beige pieces form an intricate network of interlocking lines, crosses and angular geometric shapes. With almost no strong color contrast, the pattern reveals itself gradually through the fine joints and natural variations of the handmade surface. SALMA has a quiet, sophisticated presence that allows traditional Moroccan geometry to blend effortlessly into calm and contemporary interiors.
Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining delicate geometry, natural texture and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
