À propos de cette pièce
KARKUM — meaning “turmeric” in Moroccan Arabic — is a handcrafted Moroccan Bejmat zellige tile in a warm mustard-yellow and earthy ochre glaze. Inspired by the rich golden tone of turmeric, this distinctive shade brings warmth, depth and authentic Moroccan character to both traditional and contemporary interiors. Natural variations across the handmade surface make every tile beautifully unique.
Each Bejmat tile is individually handmade in Fez, Morocco, using traditional techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans. The clay is shaped, dried and glazed by hand, resulting in natural variations in color, texture, edges and surface that make every tile unique.
✨ FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE: Our Bejmat tiles are available in a wide range of colors and can be arranged in different layouts and patterns. Please contact us for custom colors, quantities or larger interior and commercial projects.

Authentic Moroccan Craftsmanship
Each KARKUM Bejmat tile is handmade in Fez, Morocco, using traditional zellige-making techniques. The artisanal production process creates the characteristic irregular edges, richly glazed surface and subtle tonal variations that distinguish authentic Moroccan zellige.
Handmade Character
Variations in color, glaze, texture, dimensions, edges and surface finish are an essential part of authentic handmade zellige. Small chips, uneven edges, pinholes and tonal differences are natural characteristics rather than defects and contribute to the distinctive appearance of the finished installation.
