SADAFA

SADAFA, meaning seashell, is a graceful Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the overlapping forms, natural rhythm and rich colors of the sea.

Hand-cut scalloped pieces overlap in a rhythmic formation, creating a surface reminiscent of layered shells or gentle waves. Deep emerald and teal tones shift subtly from piece to piece, allowing the natural variations of the glaze to bring depth and movement to the composition. SADAFA offers a softer, more organic expression of Moroccan zellige while retaining the precision of traditional craftsmanship.

Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining flowing geometry, rich color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
