À propos de cette pièce
NABDA, meaning pulse, is a contemporary Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by rhythm, repetition and the dynamic movement created through changing blocks of color.
Elongated pieces of deep emerald green, powder blue and soft ivory shift between vertical and horizontal directions, creating an irregular yet carefully balanced composition. The changing proportions and alternating colors give NABDA a distinctive visual rhythm, transforming simple rectangular forms into a lively expression of traditional zellige craftsmanship.
Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining rhythmic geometry, rich color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
