À propos de cette pièce
MANARA, meaning beacon or tower of light, is a distinctive Moroccan zellige mosaic inspired by the elegant silhouettes and vertical forms found throughout Morocco’s historic architecture.
Sculptural forms in cobalt blue, turquoise and deep emerald green rise against a soft ivory background, creating a rhythmic architectural border. Their pointed profiles evoke the graceful outlines of traditional Moroccan towers and ornamental rooflines, while the rich variation of blue and green brings depth, freshness and a strong Mediterranean character to the composition.
Each tile is individually hand-cut from glazed ceramic, shaped and fitted by skilled craftsmen in Fez using techniques passed down through generations. The result is a unique piece of functional art, combining expressive geometry, vibrant color and the unmistakable character of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
